About Drugs Control Administration

The Drugs Control Administration has been functioning under the provisions of Drugs and Cosmetics Act 1940, Drugs and Cosmetics Rules 1945 and Medical Devices Rules 2017 under Health Department, Government of Manipur at the Directorate of Health Services.

ORGANIZATIONAL SET UP:

1. State Drugs Controller in charge (Licensing and Controlling Authority).
2. Additional State Drugs Controller in charge.
3. Drugs Inspectors.

CATEGORIES OF DRUG LICENCE:

1. Retail Drug Licence in Form 20, 21, 20-F.
2. Wholesale Drug Licence in Form 20-B, 21-B, 20-G
